54 North Maritime Training is a leading specialist provider of high quality training courses across maritime, security, fire and medical disciplines.
We have excellent training facilities in Whitby, North Yorkshire which are used for a wide range of courses from Personal Survival Techniques to Maritime Security Training, whilst many of our workplace orientated courses (including; Basic First Aid, Short Range VHF/GMDSS Radio Training) can be delivered at client’s premises by arrangement.
Participants have the opportunity to benefit from training with our specialist team of instructors who are selected for their extensive experience across maritime and military environments. Participants therefore master the required skills and knowledge through a combination of independent study, instructor led skills development and scenario practice sessions. Instructors can also provide additional relevant information to meet specific industry, workplace or local training requirements.
Our maritime training centre is accredited to deliver Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) courses. We are able to offer combined package deals for a one stop shop for your maritime training requirements.
From Fire Marshall training for workplace environments, to MCA approved Fire Fighting, we can provide the essential skills and knowledge to prevent fire incidents and to safely utilise specialist equipment to control and extinguish fires.
Since 2013 our pass rate has remained at 100% and many of our previous participants have secured employment relevant to the skills and training they achieved. Additionally 100% of those who have completed our training courses would recommend us to a friend.
We are able to help you complete skills gap assessments for your organisation and tailor training programmes which will benefit your employees and facilitate compliance with statutory requirements. We can operate within our own facilities, or on your premises to optimize the time spent training with us.
